Riverbank Linedancers
I remember my first line dancing class; I was nervous, excited, and energized all at that moment. I was hooked on this "new way to dance" and found myself attending four classes a week before too long. I took step sheets home and practiced for hours replicating the way I felt on the dance floor at those classes. The passion I found for my new found "hobby" inspired a yearning in me to learn as much as I could as fast as I could. My teachers were patient and understanding and so I looked forward to each new class to pick up new steps and routines; I was getting fit whilst having fun.

So empowered by the "line dancing" I decided that I would pass on this wonderful hobby and teach the skills I had learnt. I now run classes with a fun group who share this passion. It is a beginner to intermediate class and I try to challenge them and hopefully they too find themselves being challenged. We all enjoy the experience and we laugh and enjoy ourselves in an encouraging way. Dance comes from within and I like to teach that way, I encourage my students to feel the music and be comfortable on the dance floor first, and learning the steps will come naturally. My motto: "Face the right direction, and your feet will follow". I encourage you to join us, you will find line dancing a great way to communicate your feelings and express your emotions and the added bonus is it is a great way to exercise.

My Beginners/Easy Intermediate class is held at the Uniting Church, Cnr Arab/Cahors Road, Padstow.
