 A
group of 16 In-Line dancers supported the fund raising Hearts of Gold
Ball in April, 2009. We had a great time, a selection of photos added
to PHOTOS Page. $ 24,000 was raised for Ronald McDonald House, WOW,
well done!
One of original Team members, Alicia Wild, is no longer with us. She was a lovely, caring and thoughtful lady, always with
a happy glowing smile. Just a simple matter of tripping down a
couple of stairs and breaking her ankle (3 places). Following
convalescing after corrective surgery she acquired blood clots in both
lungs. Passed away 26th May, 2009, sadly missed by us
all. Alicia is in group photo on HOME page, tallest lady in back
row. On Sunday 5th July at Padstow RSL we celebrated the
formation of IN-LINE DANCE TEAM 10 years ago. On 1st July 1999, 8
dancers performed at Aged Care Facility in Sutherland Hospital, and
were overwhelmed with the appreciation received. We currently have 18
active Team members voluntarily giving their time to bring pleasure and
lots of smiles entertaining and interacting with residents in Nursing
and Aged Care Homes. Thank you to those who attended our Birthday
Social, I've been assured everyone had a great time. It was a bit
tricky to organise Playlist as we had novice beginners and advanced
dancers, but it worked out well. Thank you very much to Kristine and
Carol who performed 2 Competition dances, very inspiring to everyone
especially to those new to line dance scene, it was a high light of
afternoon. There is a selection of photos to view on PHOTOS Page.

For those who do not know, I run a Leisure Learning Centre on Fridays
at Kogarah. After 28 years at St.Pauls Church Hall Kogarah, we
have just relocated to our new venue at Kogarah RSL Club. If you
have Fridays free, why not come along and join us, learn a new skill
with over 13 classes to choose from, Line Dancing of course is
included. Very friendly, very relaxing, very inexpensive, very
informative, what more could you ask for - click here for Comprehensive
Program.
